King Sized Quilt Is Finished!

I finally finished it! After years in the making, here it is, a king size two block quilt. One block is the snowball block, (triangles on the corners of a plain block) The other block is a nine patch. Deceptively simple.

However, when you are making that many blocks, it takes a long time!

As you have seen, I have a hard time working on a quilt in a continuous fashion. What I mean is I don't just cut, sew, quilt, bind, enjoy. I sometimes put a quilt aside for a while while I work on something else. Sometimes I am just waiting to get the courage to get back to it. Some parts of quilting are just tedious. What can I say? This is a king sized quilt and that is a lot of sewing so, I took several breaks. However, now it is finished and I love it!

Here is the back. I quilted feathery designs in each white block. I created a different feathery design in each block. I did straight lines in the pieced area and I love the secondary pattern on the back!

Close up of the front.

I am so happy to have this quilt on my bed!
